Flybe flights start from East Midlands Airport
Flybe’s new operation from East Midlands Airport is up and running.
Daily flights between East Midlands Airport (EMA) and Amsterdam (AMS) have started while, on 7 July, Flybe will also launch a route to Belfast City Airport (BHD).
Dave Pflieger, Flybe’s CEO said: “It’s exciting to launch our new daily non-stop route between East Midlands and Amsterdam. We’re expecting this route to be extremely popular with customers who are looking for everyday great value, more ways to visit friends and loved ones, or more options to simply get away or go on holiday.”
Clare James, East Midlands Airport’s Managing Director, added: "We’re delighted to welcome Flybe to East Midlands Airport. By serving two critical routes – Amsterdam and Belfast - the airline provides important domestic and international connectivity which we know our customers rely on, and it’s a much-needed boost as we build back following the pandemic.
“Flybe is a perfect fit for East Midlands Airport which is ideally located in the heart of the country for easy and convenient short hops to key destinations within the UK and to major hub airports in Europe for ongoing travel. We very much look forward to welcoming Flybe customers back to EMA.”
