East Midlands Airport welcomes CAA's interim accessibility report
Responding to the CAA’s interim report into the quality of accessibility provision at UK airports, which finds that East Midlands Airport has been consistently “very good” throughout the year, Mike Grimes, East Midlands Airport’s Customer Services and Security Director, said:

“We welcome the CAA’s interim report into the quality of accessibility provision at UK airports which finds that East Midlands Airport (EMA) has been consistently “very good” throughout the year.
"We are committed to ensuring all passengers have a positive experience at EMA, including those with assisted travel needs. This recognition comes after being voted Europe’s top performing airport at The Ozion Accessibility Awards which celebrate airports that have made significant investment in the services they provide to passengers who need assistance.
"We are grateful to the airport’s Accessibility Forum – an independent body that represents the needs of customers and ensures best practice – which has been instrumental in shaping colleague training as well as recommending how we can achieve better outcomes for passengers.”
