East Midlands Airport hosts Rebecca Long Bailey visit
Rebecca Long Bailey MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, visited East Midlands Airport on Thursday 26 April with Rory Palmer MEP.
During a tour of the airfiled accompanied by the airport's recently appointed MD, Karen Smart, the visitors learned about the importance of the UK's largest pure cargo airport to the national and regional economy.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the significant developments taking place across the airport site which will create thousands of jobs for local people.
